I should start things off by saying that I'm not a doctor, and you shouldn't blame me if you end up hurting yourself by trying things you read on this blog. I'm not a personal trainer either; everything you read on this blog is based on my experiences and research in the realm of weight lifting and other exercises.
This blog is my way of sharing my knowledge with the world. We live in a culture overrun by weight-loss strategies, supplements, diet plans, and exercise routines. Despite all of these helpful tools, however, it seems that many people still struggle to stay fit and feel unsatisfied with their physical condition.
I like to take it back to the basics. Humans evolved for millions of years without modern technology, so why turn to artificial supplements and foods when all your body needs can be found in nature? Why purchase an expensive home exercise machine when you can get the same results with some dumbells and your own body weight?
The idea behind this blog is that people over-think staying fit. Being unhealthy and out of shape is an unnatural result of technological advances over the past few centuries. America had no obesity problem when it was founded, but we do today.
The posts in this blog will fall mainly into these categories:
•Food/diet: a look at some interesting, healthy meal ideas and some things to avoid
•Exercise routines/challenges: a way of adding some variety to a mundane work-out schedule
